The Office of Undergraduate Admissions recognizes that many applicants will be discouraged to learn that they have not been offered First-Year admission to UGA. We have designed the list below to answer some of the questions that you may have about the admissions process at UGA.
Can I be reevaluated if I submit a new ACT/SAT score? 
No. While some students may believe that it was their score on the standardized test that kept them from being admitted, it is usually their choice of courses and performance in the classroom which could have been improved.
Can I be placed on the Wait List?
No. We will not be able to place any student who has been denied admission on the Wait List.
Can I be considered for Summer?
The University of Georgia uses the same criteria for admission for Summer and Fall, therefore changing your planned starting date will not impact the decision.
I have always wanted to attend UGA. Will I be able to transfer in the future?
Yes. If your goal is to earn an undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, you will want to become familiar with our transfer guidelines.
