Here are answers to some of the common questions we have been getting for Transfer applicants.
- I have applied as a Transfer student for Spring 2014. When will I have a decision? Unfortunately we cannot tell you when you will have a transfer decision as this depends on many factors. Generally we review transfer applications in the order in which they are completed. As we make decisions, we make those decisions available to applicants.. The myStatus is updated once a day.
- Is my transcript here? You should be checking your status check regularly. This will show you everything that we have received for your application. If you just had a transcript sent to us, please be patient. It can take 5 to 10 business days on average to match a transcript with a file. If you apply after you send material, it could take a bit longer.
- Is my Transfer application complete? Applicants can check the myStatus to see if an application is complete. We must have a transcript from every college/university you have previously attended and it must be an updated transcript. For some applicants this will include coursework completed as dual enrollment while in high school.
- I will not have 30 hours completed by the deadline, should I apply? Students must at least meet the minimum requirements to be admissible for transfer admission. This includes having 30 semester hours completed by the application deadline with a 3.20GPA. Students with fewer than 30 hours are ineligible to transfer.
