Why UGA? "UGA has changed my life. Coming from a family that never experienced “the college life,” I had no idea what to expect — but saying yes has opened doors bigger than I could ever dream of. While UGA is huge, the connections you make simply by saying yes and embracing every moment can truly make the university feel a lot more close knit. UGA is not just a football team or a school, it is a family, an honor, and a world full of opportunity. Without a doubt, committing to UGA has been the best decision I have ever made. GO DAWGS!" ~Caleb Camesi
Highlighting Elizabeth Keene!
Liz has served as an intern here in the admissions office for the past year, and while we're sad to see her leave, we're even more excited for what's ahead for her! Liz is a first-generation college student that graduated Magna Cum Laude from UGA with a bachelor's degree in communication studies. Following graduation, she will be working as an admissions counselor at Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia, where she also plans to pursue a master's degree in organizational leadership. We're so proud of Liz and all the amazing things she brought to our office!Current student Audrey shares why she said YES to UGA:
"I was initially drawn to UGA for its incredible balance of academics, school spirit, and vibrant student life. With my mom as an alumna and my older sister on the UGA swim team, the campus already felt like home. However, once I arrived, I knew I wanted to create my own legacy. For me, that meant serving others. From being on my sorority’s executive board to leading church small groups, becoming a Body Talks facilitator with Student Care and Outreach, serving as a Dawg Camp counselor, and working as an orientation leader, I’ve been fortunate to share my love for UGA with others. These experiences have allowed me to guide fellow students on their own journeys, which has been incredibly rewarding. What makes UGA truly special to me is its unwavering community support. I genuinely believe every staff member is invested in my success and deeply cares about their work. I feel grateful every day walking across our beautiful campus, proud to be part of the Bulldog family."Why UGA? "I chose UGA because it had everything I was looking for—great academics, school spirit, and tons of ways to get involved. There’s always something going on in Athens, and it’s easy to feel at home. Joining the bulldog family means gaining the resources to be successful after graduation, along with a community of lifelong friends and mentors." ~Blake Martin
